If you come by car, remember to enable your toll chip on the General Rumiñahui Highway, which is the same as the Intervalles Highway. For more information, click here.

If you do not wish to purchase a chip, you can go through the toll booth and make a postpayment. More information here.

There is a parking block from Wikiri Sapoparque’s door, not ours, costs $1 per hour but we suggest you park there for your peace of mind.

Recommendations for the visit

The tour is guided and lasts 2 hours.

But the time of the tour can be flexible according to your needs. If you have less time, or are with older adults who get tired, young children or just want a shorter visit. The terrain is flat, so wheelchairs and people with reduced mobility can use it. The circuit is roofed in most of the space and airy, however we recommend you: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring an umbrella, sunscreen and water. Arrive 10 minutes before the start time of your tour.

We are Pet Friendly

Small pets on a short leash are welcome. In the case of entering with your pet, the owner agrees to: monitor the good behavior and coexistence of your pet with other people and animals, keep your pet on a short leash, pick up and clean up the waste produced by your pet. There are 3 exhibition areas that are restricted to pets: reproduction laboratory, Biocommerce room, and Chocó Night.

Yes, you must recognize the type of entry you are applying forhere. Choose the day and time for your visit. Once you have located your ticket type and your date and time, go to the shopping cart and choose the product you want to buy. Remember to arrive 10 minutes before your tour start time. The tour starts punctually at the indicated times. You can also make a transfer to our bank account but you must always reserve the day and time of your visit.

Yes, but admission depends on the number of seats available on the tour at that time. You may have to wait a few turns before you can enter.

If you are late for your tour you can join the same group where they are, or you can ask at the ticket office if there is space on the next tour for you to join that group. If you do not want either alternative reschedule your visit for another day and time at the ticket office.

In our experience, families with children of these ages also enjoy the visits and explanations received during the 2-hour tour. When the group of visitors is from a kindergarten or pre-school, the visit is different and has special activities for young children. It lasts 1 hour and 15 minutes. More information here.

Bus 
  • Si vienes en bus desde Quito centro norte, puedes tomar el Vingala, cuya primera parada sale desde la Universidad Salesiana ubicada en la calle Isabel la Católica. También puedes tomar el Condor Vall que sale desde la esquina del Seminario Mayor (Av. América).
  • Si vienes desde Quito centro sur, puedes tomar cualquier bus que salga de la estación de la Marín hacia el Triángulo en el Valle de los Chillos.
  • En cualquiera de estos casos, bájate en la parada del colegio Giovanni Farina. Cruza la Av. General Rumiñahui por el puente peatonal y a partir de ahí, camina 200 metros y nos encontrarás.
  • Si vienes en bus desde el valle de Cumbayá y Tumbaco debes tomar el bus Termas Turis; una de las paradas está frente al Club El Nacional y debes bajarte en la Av. Ilaló y Geovanni Farina. A partir de esa esquina debes caminar 500 metros y nos encontrarás.
Aeropuerto 

  • Taxi: Por seguridad, te recomendamos que tomes la línea del Aeropuerto, y pide que te lleven a San Rafael, Giovanni Farina 566 y Baltra (sector el Triángulo). El costo debería ser de hasta $25.00. Deberías llegar en 45 minutos aproximadamente.

  • Uber: Selecciona el destino como Wikiri Sapoparque; el precio varía de acuerdo al día y a la hora. El tiempo de viaje es aproximadamente 45 minutos.

     

Terminales 

Quitumbe:

  • Bus: Toma cualquier bus que te lleve hasta la estación de La Marín. Desde allí, aborda un bus en dirección al Triángulo en el Valle de los Chillos y bájate en la parada frente al Colegio Giovanni Farina. Cruza la Av. General Rumiñahui por el puente peatonal, y luego camina 200 metros. Nos encontrarás fácilmente.

  • Uber: Debes ubicar el destino como Wikiri Sapoparque. El tiempo de viaje es aproximadamente 45 minutos.

  • Taxi: Por seguridad, te recomendamos que tomes taxis con los sellos municipales, pide que te lleven a San Rafael, Giovanni Farina 566 y Baltra (sector el Triángulo). El costo es de $10 aproximadamente y toma alrededor de 45 minutos.

  • Metro: Toma el metro hasta la Estación El Ejido. Asegúrate de salir en el Arco del Triunfo. En la parada de bus sobre la Avenida Patria toma la línea Condor Vall y bájate en la parada del Colegio Farina. Cruza la Av. General Rumiñahui por el puente peatonal y a partir de ahí, camina 200 metros y nos encontrarás.

La Ofelia:

  • Uber: Debes ubicar el destino como Wikiri Sapoparque. Llegas en aproximadamente 1hora 10 minutos.

  • Taxi: Por tu seguridad, te recomendamos que tomes taxis con los sellos municipales, pide que te lleven a San Rafael, Giovanni Farina 566 y Baltra (sector el Triángulo). El costo es de aproximadamente 16 dólares.

  • Metro: Toma el metro hasta la Estación El Ejido. Asegúrate de salir en el Arco del Triunfo. En la parada de bus sobre la Avenida Patria toma la línea Condor Vall y bájate en la parada del Colegio Farina. Cruza la Av. General Rumiñahui por el puente peatonal y a partir de ahí, camina 200 metros y nos encontrarás.

     

Metro 

Opción 1: Puedes bajarte en la Estación de la Universidad Central. Dentro de la Estación asegúrate de salir por el Seminario Mayor. Escoge la salida del Seminario Mayor. 

Camina hacia el sur y en la esquina de la está la parada del Condorval.  Bájate en la parada del Colegio Farina. Cruza la Av. General Rumiñahui por el puente peatonal y a partir de ahí, camina 200 metros y nos encontrarás.

Opción 2: Toma el metro hasta la Estación El Ejido. Asegúrate de salir en el arco del triunfo. Frente a esta parada sobe la Avenida Patria hay una parada del Condorval. 

Bájate en la parada del Colegio Farina. Cruza la Av. General Rumiñahui por el puente peatonal y a partir de ahí, camina 200 metros y nos encontrarás.
